I’m deeply grateful to be part of something that truly makes a difference.
This year, I was appointed Historian and Photographer for the Utah Coalition for Caregiver Support, and I also help with social media for our Facebook page. It’s a role that allows me to document, share, and celebrate the meaningful work happening behind the scenes, while helping caregivers feel seen and included.
What I love about this coalition is the heart behind it. The Utah Coalition for Caregiver Support brings together organizations and individuals who are committed to providing real resources, tools, education, and training modules for caregivers across our state. The focus is practical, compassionate, and collaborative. Exactly what caregivers need.
Through the coalition’s work and resources at utahcares.org, caregivers can access support that helps them feel more informed, more confident, and less alone. Education matters. Connection matters. And so does acknowledgment.
Being involved in this way also aligns deeply with why I created The Caregiving Corner.
My business exists to support, acknowledge, and appreciate caregivers in all the ways they show up. Sometimes that looks like listening. Sometimes it looks like sharing resources. And sometimes it looks like amplifying the work of a larger community so caregivers know where to turn.
This role allows me to do all of that.
I’m excited about what’s ahead. About the connections being made, the education being shared, and the growing awareness around the importance of supporting caregivers, not just during crisis, but all along the way.
It really does feel like it’s going to be a great year. And I’m honored to be part of a community that believes caregivers deserve that kind of support.
