Caregiving has a way of reaching far beyond daily tasks. It touches the nervous system, relationships, identity, and the quiet emotional weight that often goes unseen. At The Caregiving Corner, we believe meaningful support includes caring for the inner world of caregivers, not just the practical demands. That’s why we’re grateful to spotlight Resilience Group Counseling as a valued event partner.
Founded by Jennifer Hill, a trauma-informed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Resilience Group Counseling focuses on deep, lasting inner healing. Her work supports adolescents through older adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside while carrying anxiety, depression, burnout, or long-held emotional wounds beneath the surface. This is especially relevant in caregiving, where people often suppress their own needs in order to keep going for others.
Jennifer’s approach recognizes something caregivers know well: pushing through doesn’t make the weight disappear. Using research-backed trauma therapies alongside body-centered and nervous-system-aware practices, her work helps individuals move beyond surface-level coping and into genuine healing. Caregivers who feel stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, over-responsibility, emotional numbness, or exhaustion may finally find language and tools for what they’ve been carrying.
What makes this work particularly aligned with caregiving support is its emphasis on rebuilding safety, self-trust, and healthy boundaries. Caregivers are often conditioned to override their own limits. Healing happens when the body and mind are given permission to slow down, process, and reconnect. Jennifer’s integrative style honors both compassion and accountability, helping people recognize their resilience while gently addressing what no longer serves them.
At The Caregiving Corner, we see caregiving not as a single role but as a lived experience that shapes emotional health over time. Partners like Resilience Group Counseling reflect our shared belief that caregivers deserve spaces where they are seen, supported, and reminded that they are not broken. They are human, and healing is possible.
We’re thankful to highlight this partnership and the work being done in our community to support deeper emotional well-being for those who give so much of themselves to others.
